Rotary Club Rosario Oeste

Context

Rotary Club Rosario Oeste was founded in Rosario on 26 April 1956 and belongs to District 4945 of Rotary International. Its site is the club's official presence: who the club is, who leads it this Rotary year, and how to reach it.

What had to be understood

The page carries two kinds of information. Some changes every Rotary year: the board and the committee directors. Some does not: the founding date, the club number, where and when the club meets. Both have to be easy to find, and kept apart.

Constraints

The work was development only. The club's existing identity and content were outside OwnSite Studio's scope. OwnSite built and published the site; it does not claim authorship of that identity or content.

Decisions

One page with five anchored sections: home, the club, its authorities, its committees, and contact. The menu marks the section being read.

On phones the menu opens from a button that tells assistive technology whether it is open.

The institutional facts, the board and the committees are set as text, not images, so they can be read, copied and found.

After publication, the technical foundations were added: a canonical address, robots.txt and a sitemap; structured data that describes the club, its founding date and its membership of Rotary International; and icons and a preview image for sharing.

Build

Static HTML and CSS, with one small script for the menu.

Result

A one-page official site in Spanish at rotaryrosariooeste.org: the club's institutional facts, its board for 2026–2027, its committee directors and its official channels. The credit on the site reads “Desarrollo web” (web development), nothing more.
